Matevža (Matta) Raškovića s Tehnološke Univerze v Aucklandu na Novi Zelandiji z naslovom “Getting ready for the academic job market: things I wish I knew after my PhD”, ki bosta 12. junija 2023 na Ekonomski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani (Kardeljeva ploščad 17, predavalnica K-202). Predavanje in delavnica v živo sta omejena na največ 25 oseb, zato je potrebna prijava. Začetno predavanje od 10h do 11h bo na voljo tudi preko povezave Zoom (prijava ni potrebna). Dogodek je namenjen predvsem doktorskim študentkam in študentom, ki nameravajo svojo akademsko kariero nadaljevati mednarodno in bo potekal v angleškem jeziku. We kindly invite you to the lecture and workshop by Professor Matevž (Matt) Rašković from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, entitled: “Getting ready for the academic job market: things I wish I knew after my PhD”, which will take place on 12 June 2023. The lecture will take place at 10:00am at the University of Ljubljana School of Economics and Business (Kardeljeva ploščad 17, lecture room K-202) and online. It will be followed by an interactive workshop at 11:15am (on site for max. 25 doctoral students). The event is intended primarily for doctoral students who wish to continue their academic careers internationally and will be held in English.

Matevž (Matt) Rašković is an Associate Professor of International Business & Strategy at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, adjunct Full Professor of International Business at the University of Ljubljana, and a visiting professor at Zhejiang University School of Management in China. He currently serves as Vice-President Administration at the Academy of International Business and was a 2017 Fulbright Fellow at Harvard University, FAS Sociology. Matt is an economic sociologist, exploring international business issues at the nexus of global business, society and policymaking. He mostly works with social identity theory, institutional theory and socio-cognitive theory. As an academic, he has lived and worked in Slovenia, the USA, China and Aotearoa New Zealand. He has also had guest or visiting positions in China, South Korea, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Estonia and Turkey. Matt is currently a Senior Editor at the European Journal of International Management and the recipient of the 2022 Emerald Literati Best Review Award at Multinational Business Review.
