Student Matic Može received a ceremonial certificate for an outstanding academic achievement

Rector of the University of Ljubljana, prof. dr. Igor Papič, presented ceremonial documents for exceptional academic achievements to students of the University. Recipients of awards represent the most successful students of their generation. 

Student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Matic Može, received a ceremonial certificate for an outstanding academic achievement.

Academic achievements of the winners go beyond the traditional student obligations and some students have already achieved international publications of their work. They are also successful competitors, or even winners of international competitions. 18 students of the University of Ljubljana received this year's ceremonial document for outstanding academic achievements.

About the laureate

Matic Može, a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, has achieved remarkable results in both, study and the field of research. In 2016, he completed his first degree studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana in 2016, with an average grade of 9.484. At the second degree studies, he was awarded as the most successful student of the year in both years of his studies, with an average grade of 9.927. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana, with a certified framework: Izboljšan prenos toplote pri mehurčkastem vrenju na strukturiranih površinah (Improved Heat Transfer during Nucleate Boiling on Structured Surfaces). He is extremely active in the field of the next Slovenian generation of technical intelligence in Slovenia and internationally. He participated in three scientific conferences of young researchers, was a mentor of students of the Bežigrad Grammar School during their seasonal work at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and, together with them, published some research achievements. His bibliography comprises 35 works. In 2016, he was awarded with the Prešeren Award from the University of Ljubljana for his final paper.
