  • EIT Manufacturing Hub is a representative of EIT Manufacturing in EIT RIS countries that is supported by European Institute of Innovation & Technology, and European Union (Horizon Europe)
  • The main purpose of EIT Manufacturing network is to unite EU production in innovation ecosystem that would give to the EU products, processes and services unique value for making more global competitive and sustainable production.
  • EIT emphasizes of three pillars: train/education, innovations, and business.
  • In Slovenia the EIT Manufacturing Hub is located at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
  • Main goals/tasks:
    • create a single point representation of EIT Manufacturing in EIT RIS countries
    • increase engagement and participation of local partners, recruitment of the new members
    • support local innovators
    • raise awareness to and gain support from local/national authorities
    • dissemination activities towards business/industry and academic audience (students and faculty)
    • know-how transfer implementation for the facilitation of the needs of the companies (start-ups, scale-ups, OEMs).
