Dear doctoral students,
We cordially invite you to the international EUTOPIA Ecological Intelligence autumn school, dedicated to exploring the impact of ecological crises, climate extremes, and environmental degradation on policies and the ethics of inclusion. The event will take place on November 21 and 22, 2024, at the University of Ljubljana.
The school will be led by distinguished international lecturers from various theoretical and disciplinary fields, with a focus on the humanities and their role in reflecting on diversity, minorities, marginalized communities, and new actors shaped by ecological disasters and artificial intelligence. Participants will gain new knowledge in environmental humanities, digitalization, and society, as well as become familiar with innovative practical methodologies in transformative art and social sciences.
The school is intended for master’s and PhD students with prior knowledge of social theory, communication studies, and digitalization, as well as for those who wish to gain new interdisciplinary insights in their studies and research.
You can find the whole programme here. The entire event will be held in English. More information HERE.
To register, please send an email to jelena.licanin@uni-lj.si. The number of participants is limited to 20 students, and registration is based on the order of submission. Attendance is mandatory on both days of the school. The registration deadline is November 10, 2024.
