As part of the University of Ljubljana’s Week celebrations, awards were presented to administrative staff for their significant contributions to improving work processes and creating a positive atmosphere at the faculties and the Rectorate.

Among the awardees are two staff members from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering: Mag. Tanja Mavrič Rušt and Nika Vardjan Naglič, who, through their dedication, professionalism, and innovative approach, make an important contribution to the development of the faculty and the wider academic community.

Mag. Tanja Mavrič Rušt, as the head of the Research Affairs Office at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, provides comprehensive administrative support for the faculty’s research activities. This includes keeping researchers informed about new calls for proposals, application requirements, ensuring the accuracy of submissions, and providing support during project implementation. With her proactive approach and great tact, she successfully coordinates the demands of clients, accounting, and the staffing capabilities of laboratories.

Nika Vardjan Naglič, as the head of the Student Affairs Office at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, is responsible for the timely and accurate enrollment of students, changes to study programs, and the legal integrity of all administrative procedures related to student matters. She plays a crucial role in the digitalization of enrollment processes, attendance records, and scheduling. She is characterized by initiative, creativity, and responsibility.
