The researchers of the Laboratory for Dynamics of Machines and Structures (LADISK) at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering have published an article in one of the leading journals in the field of Mechanics Engineering – Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing (4/137, IF=8,934). The 3D full-field responses of the structure were identified using the latest high-speed camera measurement method. The responses were used to identify the material parameters of the numerical model of the measured structure. A method for automatic parameter selection was presented to enable accurate identification of the localized anomalies on the structure. With the proposed method, a geometrically complex structure is automatically parametrized, generalizing the model updating procedure.
