The Slovenian Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation (ARIS) has announced the results of the (co-)funding of research projects to be implemented from 1 January 2025. The Agency has supported the scientific excellence and potential of our ten researchers:

  • small basic research project: Sr. Res. Assoc. Dr. Tomaž Požar – Friction Reduction with Advanced Contacts – FRAC
  • small basic research project: Assist. Prof. Dr. Uroš Trdan – Improving the Functional and Structural Performance of Superelastic Shape Memory Alloys with High Intensity Laser Shock Waves (SuperShocked)
  • small applied research project: Prof. Dr. Gregor Čepon – Characterisation of Dynamic Properties of Multiaxial Joints for Vibroacoustic Control and Damage Monitoring of Household Appliances
  • small applied research project: Assist. Prof. Dr. Boštjan Mavrič – Next Generation of Mesh-free Methods for Advanced Steel Processing Simulations
  • small applied research project: Prof. Dr. Janko Slavič – Active Self-aware 3D-printed Dynamic Systems and Structures
  • small applied research project: Prof. Dr. Božidar Šarler – Experimentally Supported New Generation Multi-Physics and Multi-Level Digital Twin Semi-Continuous Casting of Aluminium Alloys for Efficient Production of High Value Castings
