For the second year in a row, the University of Ljubljana has launched a call for outstanding mentors to reward excellence in research. Based on the Rules for the selection and funding of young researchers, the International Committee has selected ten outstanding mentors with whom the young researchers will begin their traineeship in the autumn.
Prof. Dr Mitjan Kalin and Assoc. Prof. Dr Jaka Tušek have also been selected as outstanding mentors for 2024.
The call was open to the best researchers at the University of Ljubljana who are leading at least one international project or the Slovenian part of an international project with a value of at least 100,000 euros and who have supervised at least two doctoral students.
