Project title: Teaching Artificial Inteligence
Acronym: TAI
Type of project: EU projekti
Role: Coordinator
Financing: Erasmus+
Duration: 1.09.2024 – 31.08.2027
Project description:
The project focuses on addressing the gap in AI education by developing an accessible and practical learning framework. The goal is to standardize and improve education by establishing Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs), ensuring consistent and high-quality understanding of AI for students across different institutions. The project combines theoretical knowledge with the development of practical resources, such as databases and Python code, allowing students to apply AI in real-world scenarios.
A key part of the project is the creation of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), which will use a combination of traditional and interactive methods to provide accessible and flexible learning for a broader audience. Collaboration between institutions from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, and Montenegro promotes the exchange of expertise and the creation of adaptable teaching materials.
The project will have a wide-reaching impact on AI education, equipping students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to understand and responsibly use artificial intelligence. This enhances workforce competence, fosters innovation, and enables the solving of complex challenges. Additionally, it contributes to the digital transformation of education, encourages institutional collaboration, and lays the foundation for long-term partnerships and future AI-related projects.
