The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana has received the ‘Athletes Friendly Education’ certificate from the Olympic Committee of Slovenia – Association of Sports Federations, valid for the period 2026–2030.
This certificate recognises educational institutions that facilitate adjustments to the study process, enabling athletes to successfully progress in their education while participating in top-level sports.
According to the regulations, recipients of the certificate must meet all the mandatory criteria, as well as a certain number of additional criteria, to ensure systematic support for athletes in coordinating their studies and sporting commitments.
The inclusion of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering among the recipients of the certificate confirms our commitment to creating a stimulating and inclusive study environment that enables the development of both academic and athletic potential.
The Faculty is also listed on the Olympic Committee of Slovenia’s website.
