This time, the female students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana have achieved an outstanding sporting success. Our students Pika Pauletič, Maja Jarc, and Hana Đuherić competed as part of a joint team representing Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Faculty of Public Administration.
In the final of the University Basketball League, the team delivered an excellent performance and convincingly defeated the Faculty of Sport with a score of 53:39, securing the gold medal.
The success of our female students further confirms that the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is creating an environment that fosters both academic and athletic excellence. This is also attested to by the ‘Athlete-Friendly Education’ certificate we recently received for the period 2026–2030.
