The first International CEEPUS Summer School on Modern Forming Technologies started today with the opening ceremony, hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, Prof. Dr. Mihael Sekavčnik. It will take place from Monday 29 August to Friday 9 September 2022. Participants will enjoy a versatile programme of lectures, group work and excursions.

The summer school will feature lectures by Prof. Dr. Goran Cukor (University of Rijeka, Croatia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mladomir Milutinović (University of Novi Sad, Serbia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dejan Movrin (University of Novi Sad, Serbia) and a member of our faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tomaž Pepelnjak from the Laboratory for Forming. In addition to lectures and intensive collaborative work, the international participants will visit various companies, the Bistra Technical Museum, the Herman Potočnik Noordung Center of Space Technologies and other points of interest in Slovenia.

The Summer School on Modern Forming Technologies is part of the Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies (CEEPUS), a regional programme that aims to establish and promote student and faculty mobility between participating countries. CEEPUS operates on the basis of networks, which in turn facilitate the international mobility of students and professors and joint international cooperation projects.
