On the 12th and 13th of May, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana rewarded its best students with a trip to the automotive city of Modena. First, they visited the Horacio Pagani Museum, which houses an impressive collection of some of the world’s most unique Pagani cars. This was followed by a tour of the Pagani factory, famous for its boutique approach to building super power cars. The day continued at the Lamborghini Museum and Factory, where they had the opportunity to see the production line of their latest model, the Revuelto. Four students got a taste of speed in a special Lamborghini simulator. In the evening they walked through the streets of Modena, where the Motor Valley Festival took place the same day, allowing the students to see some amazing examples of cars and exhibits in the beautiful Gothic centre of Modena.

The next day they travelled to Maranello, where they took a special panoramic shuttle to the Ferrari factory complex and the Fiorani racetrack. The tour continued at the Ferrari Museum, where four lucky guests also had the chance to try their hand at driving a Ferrari F1 simulator. The trip ended with refreshments in an Italian restaurant before heading home.

The top students are already looking forward to another trip next year.
