This year, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering’s volleyball team finished the University Volleyball League on a high. After completing the group stage undefeated, the team beat the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics in the quarter-finals, the Faculty of Economics in the semi-finals, and then the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in the final. In the final, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering team won the first set 25–18. However, the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics team evened the score to make it 1–1. In the decisive third set, the Mechanical Engineering students played superbly once again, winning 15–11 and finishing the UWL season undefeated. The Most Valuable Player title in the final went to Nejc Prijatelj from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
