CANDIDATES OF EU MEMBER STATES & SLOVENIANS WITHOUT SLOVENIAN CITIZENSHIP
- The first application period: from 20 February 2024 to 20 March 2024.
- The second application period (only for still-available enrolment slots): from 21 August 2024 to 27 August 2024. In this period, the still-available enrolment slots are only available to the candidates who have:
– Candidates who did not apply in the first-round application period.
– Candidates who have not been admitted into any of the degree programmes specified in the first-round application.
– Candidates who have not enrolled in the degree programme to which they have been admitted in the first-round application period.
– Candidates who have deregistred from a degree programme by 16 August 2024 inclusive.
CANDIDATES OF NON EU COUNTRIES:
- The first application period: from 20 February 2024 to 19 April 2024.
- The second application period (only for still-available enrolment slots): 3 and 4 September 2024. In this period, the still-available enrolment slots are only available to the candidates who have:
– already applied in the first application period but was not accepted and for whom the decision on recognition of the educational qualification has been issued in the first application period,
– a decision on recognition of foreign educational qualification issued before 2005,
– finished secondary school in Slovenia (except the candidates who have finished international secondary school in Slovenia and for whom the recognition procedure is required),
– finished secondary school in SFRJ before 25. 6. 1991,
– the International Baccalaureate Diploma or The European Baccalaureate Certificate.
Candidates are required to apply by submitting an electronic application through the eVŠ web portal.

THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR ENROLMENT IN A HIGHER YEAR (in accordance with the criteria for transfer or under the conditions for faster advancement) AND FOR PARALLEL STUDIES: from 1 to 16 September 2024.
Candidates who apply for enrolment in a higher year must also meet the conditions for enrolment in the first year of the study programme in which they want to enrol. The year in which the candidate can enrol is determined by the higher education institution in the application and admission procedure, regardless of the year selected and indicated by the candidate in the application for enrolment.

For check up at our faculty, send us the following documentation directly to us:
- Scan of the final original certificate, scan of a Slovene or English certified translation of an education certificate, scan of annual report cards, transcripts, diploma supplement or other evidence on the content and druation of education for all years of pre-university education;
- Transcript of records and official syllabuses of listed subjects (in English) of your 1. cycle study programme, only for the passed exams.

Foreign citizens must pay a tuition fee in accordance with the Rules on tuition fees and accommodation in students’ dormitories for Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship and foreigners in the Republic of Slovenia (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos 77/16, 25/19 and 56/22).
On the basis of the signed protocols on cooperation in the field of education, the citizens of Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia are, for enrolment in the 2023/2024 academic year, equated to citizens of Slovenia and the citizens of the European Union Member States regarding the payment of study expenses, i.e. they are exempt from payment of tuition fees for foreigners for full-time studies.

Slovenians with secondary education abroad, citizens of member states of the European Union and Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship
Between 31 July and up until 14 August 2024 applicants who have been accepted in the
first selection procedures may enrol at the faculty or academy on the basis of the decision on
the result of the selection procedure.
Between 25 and 30 September 2024 applicants who have been accepted in the second
selection procedures may enrol at the faculty or academy.
Foreign citizens of non-member states of the European Union
Up until 30 September 2024 applicants who have been accepted in the first or the second
selection procedures may enrol at the faculty or academy on the basis of the decision on the
result of the selection procedure.
