The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will reopen the doors of its laboratories at the begining of the 2023-24 academic year with the Open Faculty event. All students are invited to visit the UL Faculty of Mechanical Engineering laboratories on the 1st of October 2024 from 10:30 am to 2 pm to learn more about their research projects and activities that take place there.
Why should you attend the event?
At the Open Faculty event, you will have the unique opportunity to:
- See the labs and find out where the challenges of the future are being solved and how you too can become a part of it.
- Connect with researchers who will be happy to answer all your questions and present the opportunities for your study path.
- Find a topic for your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis.
During the event, stands of various student societies will also be set up in front of the faculty, to present their projects and activities:
- Student council UL, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,
- tutors UL, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,
- DBF Edvard Rusjan Slovenian team,
- Superior Engineering (Formula Student),
- Peskovnik – Open Laboratory UL, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering with their projects
Guided tour options
After the protocol session in Cankarjev dom, which will end approximately at 10:30 a.m., guided lab tours will be organized in front of the entrance of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering for all freshmen (HE and UN), where others can join in as well.
