V naslednjem semestru na Fakulteti za strojništvo UL testno uvajamo sklop 6 podjetniških delavnic, namenjenih študentom in raziskovalcem s področja strojništva in sorodnih področij. Program je priložnost, da udeleženci poleg tehničnega znanja razvijejo podjetniško razmišljanje, inovativnost in ključne mehke veščine, ki jih potrebujejo za prenos idej na trg.

Mesta za posamezne skupine udeležencev so omejena:
- 10 študentov Odprtega laboratorija – Peskovnika. Pri študentih OL imajo prednost kandidati z višjim nazivu članstva.

Od prijavljenih se pričakuje udeležba na vseh 6 delavnicah.

KAJ?
Program udeležencem ponuja praktičen vpogled v proces zagona novega podjetja – od ideje do testa na trgu – ter krepi veščine, ki jih industrija danes pričakuje od inženirjev.
Glavni cilji delavnic:
- Demistifikacija startup procesa
- Udeleženci spoznajo glavne korake od ideje do lansiranja podjetja: prepoznavanje priložnosti, poslovni model, prototipiranje in validacija na trgu.
- Razvoj podjetniškega načina razmišljanja
- Vaje in primeri iz prakse spodbujajo radovednost, prepoznavanje priložnosti, kreativno reševanje problemov in ustvarjanje vrednosti.
- Krepitev mehkih veščin
- Poudarek na timskem delu, komunikaciji, mreženju in vodenju v podjetniškem kontekstu – kompetence, ki so za inženirje ključne pri kariernem razvoju.
- Akcijsko načrtovanje novega podviga
- Udeleženci spoznajo orodja za oblikovanje poslovnega modela, načrt razvoja produkta, trženja in financiranja.
- Pitchanje in predstavitev idej
- Ob koncu programa udeleženci pripravijo in predstavijo osnovni pitch svoje poslovne ideje ter se naučijo oblikovati jasno value proposition za potencialne partnerje in investitorje.

Entrepreneurship Workshops for Engineering Students and Researchers with international expert George Deriso (Dewesoft)
In the upcoming semester, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana (UL FME), is launching a pilot series of 6 entrepreneurship workshops for students and researchers in mechanical engineering and related fields. The program is an opportunity for participants to complement their technical knowledge with an entrepreneurial mindset, innovation skills and key soft skills needed to bring ideas to the market.

- 6 consecutive workshops, every other week at the same time (19 February, 5 March, 19 March, 2 April, 16 April, 7 May)

Places for each participant group are limited:
- 10 Open Laboratory – Peskovnik students. Among OL students, candidates with a higher level of membership have priority.
- 10 PhD students
- 10 UL FME researchers
Participants are expected to attend all 6 workshops.

WHAT?
The program offers participants a practical insight into the process of starting a new venture – from idea to market testing – and strengthens the skills that industry expects from engineers today.
Main objectives of the workshops:
- Demystifying the startup process
- Participants will learn the main steps from idea to venture launch: opportunity identification, business model, prototyping and market validation.
- Developing an entrepreneurial mindset
- Exercises and real-world examples encourage curiosity, opportunity recognition, creative problem-solving and value creation.
- Strengthening soft skills
- Emphasis on teamwork, communication, networking and leadership in an entrepreneurial context – competences that are crucial for engineers in their career development.
- Actionable planning of a new venture
- Participants are introduced to tools for developing a business model and for planning product development, marketing and financing.
- Pitching and presenting ideas
- At the end of the program, participants prepare and deliver a basic pitch of their business idea and learn how to formulate a clear value proposition for potential partners and investors.

George Deriso is an internationally recognized entrepreneur, consultant and educator with extensive experience in startups and global corporations.
